As compared to all the other responses, this one's going to sound really cheesy, as I'm not a well known politician.
Here's the scene: 10:00 p.m., July 18, 1997 the night before I got married and my bachelor party. We conviened at a friends house with Guitars, keyboards, a drum set and a PA/Soundman I'd borrowed from the University Performing Arts Center. We'd been playing blues and there were probably 20 local musicians taking turns playing, singing and drinking along with other friends and neighbors. My bride to be popped in to crash the party with some friends of hers. I asked her to join me in the band pit (there was no stage) and she joined me in our rendition of "Heroes" from Boomtown. The harmonies were perfect, the band was a bit plodding and deliberate and the bass player learned the changes as we went along. I recall we had a false start as I screwed up and counted it off in 4/4 rather than 12/8. (Or is it 6/8, I dunno.) I drank too much Irish Whiskey that night but was amazingly clear and pain free the next morning.
Anyway, that's my big DB music memory.
