Though I'd love to have Charlie in the band full-time, I'm sad to say that as of this moment he is more of an adjunct member, as it seems he has this other job with this Dylan character. But weep not, as he joins a legion of honorary and adjunct NFU-ers, fine folk all, and always welcome in the studio or onstage.
I was sad to not put Paddy on this record, too, but felt that in the long term the song would be better served by recutting it w/ small orchestra on the next record. Budgetary
restraints constrained me from doing any orch dates on this record, and to my ears, that song, River's Edge, and In My Own Way all require that treatment, so look for a possible Paddy/River's/Way Suite on NFU II.
