The latter!  Where I come from, to hit on means to chat one up for the purposes of procuring a romantic outcome (that could be anything from going out for coffee to sex)  I don't think he's the violent type.  

That comment was really based more on his recent marriage and past relationship's that he's had.  However, I certainly don't mean to slander the man.

I'm flattered that the DB board crew has my back (and my wife's) and if I'm ever threatened by anyone (especially musicians) I'll call you.

I've seen recent pics of PG and I'm pretty sure my wife could hold her own against him.  She's from Texas and has faced far more fierce creatures than him.
