Here is a reposting of the update on the 1988 John Carpenter film THEY LIVE, which is currently being censored by what appears to be someone from within the US intelligence community.

I have faxed a request to the William Morris agency regarding an interview with John Carpenter regarding the current status of this film. The DVD is currently being offered for as much as $500 per copy, and it was only a $19.95 DVD to begin with!

AS soon as there is updated information on this matter, I will post it as soon as I can.

1988 Film Banned - Too Close To The REAL TRUTH!

Under the United States Constitution, we are SUPPOSED to be guaranteed FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND OF THE PRESS by the first amendment. December 15, 1791 saw the passage of the first ten amendments, which have since come to be known as the BILL OF RIGHTS. The first amendment right of FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND OF THE PRESS has been with us now for 211 years. But, if we still have this FREEDOM, then why has the 1988 sci-fi film by John Carpenter, THEY LIVE, been effectively banned in this country, and ordered to be removed from all store shelves?

It doesn't even surprise me that those of you reading this haven't even heard of this situation. Everything I am about to tell you now, is absolutely true, verifiable, and I will even tell you where you can go, and what you can do to verify everything I am saying here.

To begin, let me tell you what this film is about.

It is about a man named JOHN NADA who discovers that the world is being run by a race of aliens who disguise themselves as humans. He discovers that once a pair of special sunglasses are put on, the aliens can be seen for what they really are, as well as seeing the many subliminal messages these aliens have placed everywhere for the purpose of controlling the way we think and virtually everything we do.

Here below is a direct quote from a TV transmission by the rebel forces who were trying to save the world, or at least OPEN PEOPLE'S EYES TO WHAT WAS GOING ON! This was transcribed directly from the DVD, and it should give you a taste of what the film is all about:


" . . . our impulses are being redirected. We are living in an artifically state of consciousness that resembles sleep . . . the movement was begun eight months ago by a small group of scientists who discovered, quite by accident, these signals are being sent through TV . . . the poor and the underclass are growing. Racial justice and human rights are non-existant. They have created a repressive society, and we are their unwitting accomplices . . . their intention to rule rests with the annhialation of consciousness. We have been lulled into a trance. They have made us indifferent to ourselves, to others, we are focused only on our own gain . . . please understand, they are safe as long as they are not discovered. That is their primary method of survival. Keep us asleep, keep us selfish, keep us sedated . . ."

Additionally, subliminal messages are embedded in all manner of books, TV, videos, billboards, newspapers, magazines, etc. The film contains a camera shot of a twenty dollar bill, that when viewed with the special glasses, reveals the following message imprinted on the face of the twenty dollar bill:

"THIS IS YOUR GOD," it says--- and for many, this is absolutely TRUE!


THEY LIVE was written and directed by JOHN CARPENTER, and was released in theatres on June 14, 1988. The film was based upon RAY NELSON'S short story EIGHT O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING. When it was briefly in theatres, it was not one of Carpenter's bigger hits, and did not make a whole lot of money. It was released in fullscreen VHS format on August 8, 1990, where again, it did not sell very many copies.

On October 17, 2000, it was released in a widescreen (2.35:1 aspect ratio) DVD, which was suitable for home theatre viewing. This DVD edition carried a $19.95 list price, and would often be found for sale for $14.95 or less in stores such as BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO, MEDIA PLAY, SUNCOAST VIDEO, and numerous others. Some time after the horrors of 9/11, THEY LIVE was ordered to be taken off of the shelves, and all copies were to be returned to the manufacturer AND WERE NOT BE SOLD TO THE PUBLIC!

The DVD version of THEY LIVE is now being offered for sale on AMAZON.COM for as much as $500 for a brand-new sealed copy, and between $100 and $150 for a used copy. And, this is for a $15 DVD! It is also available for sale on EBAY.COM, and HALF.COM for prices FAR ABOVE the original asking price of this film at retail.

I have made calls to numerous contacts within the film industry, as well as to several retail outlets, and each time, I posed as a customer looking to order a DVD copy of THEY LIVE. The responses that I received were very interesting to say the least!  

I spoke to the managers of stores in the Buffalo, NY area regarding this DVD, and specifically, how I could order a copy. I did this to see what they would say, and NOT because I really wanted to buy a copy, because I already had a copy at home, sitting on a shelf with the other DVD's in my library.

I spoke with the managers of these stores in my local area:

01) BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO (3 locations in my area)
02) MEDIA PLAY (again, 3 locations in my area)
03) SUNCOAST VIDEO (3 locations in my area)
04) RECORD THEATRE (3 locations in my area)

Also, I spoke with the following national interests:

05) UNIVERSAL PICTURES (Hollywood, CA publicity dept.)
06) VIDEOETA.COM webmaster (posts upcoming release dates)
07) MEDIA PLAY/SUNCOAST VIDEO (Corporate offices)
08) BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO (Corporate offices)
09) WILLIAM MORRIS AGENCY (Beverly Hills, CA - Carpenter's agent)
10) JOHN CARPENTER (Film maker - waiting on confirmation for interview)


The local stores ALL confirmed that THEY LIVE is no longer for sale in any format. Please note that it is NOT the usual policy to return all unsold copies of ANYTHING to the warehouse. The USUAL policy is to SELL all available copies, but not to order any more afterwards. As I was posing as a customer that wanted to purchase a DVD, I specifically asked each one of the store managers WHY it was that I could not order this DVD.

The one manager for BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO confirmed that there was a SPECIAL URGENT NOTICE on the ordering screen for all versions of THEY LIVE stating that even the RENTAL COPIES were to be removed, and sent back to the warehouse. He also confirmed to me that nearly everyone that was coming into the store these days were all asking about how they could get a copy of this film. He also stated that in his store, he could NOT return ANY of the rental copies of THEY LIVE, because they were all reported as "LOST" by the people renting those particular copies. Because they had only paid $15 for each copy, that is all they were able to charge the people who "LOST" the DVD and VHS copies they rented.

The webmaster for VIDEOETA.COM confirmed to me that UNIVERSAL HOME VIDEO has no plans whatsoever to release a SPECIAL EDITION of THEY LIVE at some time in the future. He also told me that his contact with UNIVERSAL HOME VIDEO had stated that THEY LIVE will never again be released in any format in the USA or elsewhere.

In other words, this is NOT a ploy to drive up demand for a forthcoming SPECIAL EDITION of the film THEY LIVE!

One of the other managers of BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO that I spoke with told me that there were rumors going around between the store managers of various stores that THEY LIVE was ordered OFF THE SHELVES by the OFFICE OF STRATEGIC INFORMATION. The interesting thing about this comment, is that this video store manager should have not even known about this INTERNAL DIVISION of the United States intelligence community! This department of the CIA/NSA is NOT common knowledge among those who have only a cursory knowledge of the inner workings of the United States government.

I am now waiting on the final arrangements to be put into place so I can conduct an interview with JOHN CARPENTER himself, regarding the film, which he has described as the favorite film of his that he has ever made over his long career, starting in 1974, and onward until his last and most recent film, GHOSTS OF MARS.  

So, your rights are being taken away, one step at a time.

This is the latest in a long laundry list of full-frontal assaults against our so-called "rights" and "freedoms."

If you do not wish to believe what I have said here, go check these things out for yourself.

Go call your favorite video store, and try to get a copy of THEY LIVE.

Go online, and check out AMAZON.COM and see how much this is being offered for these days. Call, check, verify EVERYTHING that I have said here. Call BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO, MEDIA PLAY, or SUNCOAST VIDEO, and ask them to place your name on the reserve list for this video.

When you do this, you will discover that THEY LIVE is a film that someone DOES NOT want you to see, and they want this very badly at that!

Remember, as with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that I say--- go verify it, if you don't believe it!
