: Do you think it would be a good idea to release lyrics for Silver or Lead before it is actually on an album? Just wondering.
Well, I'd like to have 'em, (Lyrics) I think it's possibly the best song David has written in quite awhile, I'm just taken with it really, and I'm pretty capable of deciphering them based on the live tracks already posted here, it's just some times you have to guess here and there and your not quite sure what DB actually said or meant. For instance
in "Playground in the Park without a lyric sheet,
How many of us would have come up with "A Wild Eyed Herridan Screaming at her children, jaws like a rusty old saw?"
I always heard A Wild eyed lady, screaming at her children, charmed like a rusty old song" a little different and not quite as tastfull as David's actual intent would'nt you say? just an idea, It doesn't HAVE to be fulfilled. What's the harm in asking?
