As everyone probably knows that a ruling was just made in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that declared the words "under GOD" unconstitutional. They are trying to say that it had to be done in the name of "seperation of church and state."
Here is what the ruling had to say (in part):

Goodwin, an appointee of President Richard M. Nixon currently serving as a semi-retired senior judge, wrote for the three-judge panel. Goodwin was joined by Stephen Reinhardt, an appointee of President Jimmy Carter.
The case was brought by Michael A. Newdow, a Sacramento atheist, who did not want his daughter to have to recite the pledge in her second-grade class in the Elk Grove school district. After a federal district judge dismissed his lawsuit, Newdow, arguing the case himself, appealed to the 9th Circuit.
The ruling als called The Pledge an endorsement of monotheism, which is completely ridiculous. Perhaps it would suit them better if we replaced the word GOD with "Great Architect of the Universe," as those who are freemasons refer to their creator.
Those poor souls are mislead, and only and until does one reach the 30th degree of freemasonry, a degree which is called "Grand Elect Knight Kadosh," are they told that the "Grand Architect of the Universe" is in fact LUCIFER. (By the way, those who are serious about their Satanism NEVER refer to the object of their worship as SATAN. It is given other names, such as LUCIFER and BAPHOMET, just to name two that are used.) By the time this happens, the person is so brainwashed that they continue onward, instead of dropping out.
Incidentially, in the freemasonic lodge, a member is subject to disciplinary action if the name JESUS or JESUS CHRIST is uttered while inside the lodge.
There is a woman's auxillary to freemasonry that is known as "Order Of The Eastern Star" whose organizational logo is an inverted pentagram. It is very similar to the symbol of Baphomet that is used by the CHURCH OF SATAN as their logo.
Incidentially, less than 4% of all freemasons ever get beyond the first three degrees, whcih are called the BLUE LODGE DEGREES. By the time a candidate gets to the point where the true object of their worship is revealed, they would have been tested many times over again to see if they would be accepting of such matters.
Those who do, advance. Those who don't, stay in the BLUE LODGE forever, hopelessly appeased by the highest degree obtained, the degree of MASTER MASON. There are, thirty degrees above this, however. The BLUE LODGE is called this, because the ceiling is painted as an azure blue sky.
