Alright Mr Baerwald:
Male Character: I'm sorry, my sweet but I must be going.
Female: Will you be long?
Male: Unfortunately no, it's rather chilly outside.
Female: Guys who drive fast sports cars are obviously compensating for something. What do you drive?
Male: A golf cart.
Ok...that's all I've got right now and I'm at work. I'll think about it though.
Hint: Hit your local library for Alexander Woolcott books. Also, if you can locate it, Victorian Erotic Fiction. I have a book called "The Pearl" I grabbed at a free book box at a garage sale once. Honestly, all I saw was the back cover and thought it was a Steinbeck book. It wasn't until I arrived home to my amusement it was a collection of short erotic stories and they're hilarious and quite filthy. But the vocabulary is fairly varied. David, for you, I'll drag it out and perhaps I can find more fodder for your piece.
