I have received the following information regarding the upcoming NFU tour:
David said that it will be a national tour, starting around mid August. Dates and venues are still being booked. As soon as there is more information, we all will know about it.
Also, I have been in touch with the booking agents at the best club in Buffalo. The Tralf is named after Kurt Vonnegut's writing, and it refers to a community of like-minded people. They have a $500,000 light and surround sound system. This is the place Pat Metheny plays in when he comes to town. Also, THE BAND has played this place.
I sent two copies of the new CD, one for use at the club, the other, for his personal use. Along with that, I sent reviews, promo material, and of course, included the contact information for the NFU's management and booking agents, including fax AND e-mail information.
So, my fingers are crossed. If not, I will miss one memorable day, and will take a ride to wherever I need to see a show.
