>Jerusalem is mainly a rock record, full of punkish grind suitable to the brimstone feel of the tunes like "Ashes to Ashes" and the neo-rap/talking blues of "Amerika v. 6.0 (The Best We Can Do)." But with Steve, ever the eclectic sponge, you can always expect quirky musical surprises. Perhaps most stunning here is the R&B-inflected "Conspiracy Theory." <
Kent will love this one. :)
But seriously folks......
I understand where Steve is coming from on this issue but I have to wonder if he has chosen the proper vehical with which to elevate his wake up cause.
It's kinda like with Kent, and I'm not saying this to offend you Kent but perhaps you will accept a bit of constructive criticisim, there is a lot of truth in the things you say but it tends to get burried in the outlandish wrappings that tend to accompany it.
( aliens, B movie blues, etc. )
I think if you bring the level down to earth where it is not such a jagged little pill that you could reach many more ears.
There are a lot more people then you think that are "aware" in this country.
Songs are written all the time.
Solutions are what we need, not panicked sprints to the fall out shelter.
I can't really take someone seriously who expects me to believe that the X-Files is spoon feeding any truth on the sly.
I gotta, I'm in the middle of a strom.
( which is probably brought on by someone who doesn't want me to post this message )
