After some of the snide responses I've received from a certain individual (much of it provoked, some of it not) do you really think I'll buy the cd? I know I'm not the innocent party, but since this is a message board, you don't have to read any of my messages. If you choose to read and choose to respond - then it's your own stupid fault if you do.
Whilst there'll always be smartmouths on every internet board, it's not very prudent for the artist in question to come on and start running his (or her) mouth off at the people he (or she) disagrees with. (The same goes for threats and insults!) But like I've said, it's a lot cheaper than therapy.
I'd probably disagree politically with Bruce Cockburn and Jackson Browne too, but since they keep themselves to themselves and stick to the music, I've got all 26 of BC's albums (25 of them have been autographed by the man himself) and all 12 of Jackson's. They have a pretty good PR framework and both know better than to get into it with fans and then wonder why they don't sell.
