Doug may very well be barely competent as an engineer, but I've never seen evidence to convict him as a kiss-ass. He came in a
day or two ago and said "Uh I got a bit out of hand on your message board, I hope it's okay"
So I looked at his postings and found for the first time that he actually liked me!  See, all this time I thought he thought I was a giant pain in the ass, what with my impossible hours and wierd equipment needs.  So, though I was a little mortified to see the whole exchange, still I was glad to know that he wasn't as disenchanted as I feared.

And Mick, the statement that I might not have an audience for my music was meant in no way as a slight against you;  merely a recognition of specific economic realities.  I hope you know that whatever I choose to do with my career as a musician that I'll always write my  songs and record them and make them available to you who care enough to seek them out.  I meant no disrespect or lack of appreciation.  

And Richard...  What is the deal?  If I make you so angry, why do you bother with me?  I'm not dictating federal policy, I'm not stalking you, I'm not bothering your family...  I mean...  Why go and say all these hateful, hurtful things all the time?  What are you trying to accomplish?
