hmm. am dismayed by the vitriol that makes it into this site. disagreement is part of life, but it's good to do it respectfully if possible, and with pulled punches if not. kinda mindboggling, how we live in a world where the temptation to quote (of all people) Rodney King is so very very strong...
on a lighter, DB-related note: happened to see the August issue of Premiere Magazine...and taking up a third of the page on page 9, is none other than our man looking dapper/world-weary/dope as only he can (it's the same photo/copy from the postcards that Andrea was handing out, with an accurately condensed if rather straightforward description of DB and the new disc). still, how nice to see Lost Highway engaging in promosexual activity of the highest order.
who knows, they keep this up, radio gets a clue, and before you know it people actually come out to see a farking great show...
other stuff: be nice if there was an edit function on this site, so i could call songs by their correct title (In The Wild West) and get drummers' names right (sorry, JJ). oh well...in the meantime, think i'll go listen to Compassion again.
