To Mr. Hiatt, eh?  Wow!  His last album is a fantastic record equal to Slow Turning I would say.  I would love to hear a new Little Village. Tom Waits last three on Epitaph, Dr. John's Creole Moon, Solomom Burke's new album on Epitaph, Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Randy Newman, XTC, Bonnie Raitt, Stephen Fearing, Colin Linden, Tom Wilson, Blackie and the Rodeo kings, Warren Zevon, Peter Himmelman (although it's been a while), Nick Lowe, Steve Earle, Ryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen,...To name a few.  To bad most of these and many others will not get the push needed into the cultural marketplace!
I'm anxious to hear the new Bob Geldof on the Koch label in Canada, a new Peter Gabriel would be wonderful...
Ps I said in my original posting that David's new album was great, not the greatest record.  Just to clarify.
