Guitar player has an article on Jerry Douglas from the August Issue.  It is very informative for anyone who plays acoustic instruments and records...especially dobro players.  He has incredible tone, unbelievable technique.  He has a new solo album out now, and I have a copy of Slide Rule around on Cassette somewhere.  Someday, when I paint my masterpiece and I get really big money (quit laughing) I'll go get it on Disc.  

He's prominently featured on the O'Brother where art thou album and you can even see him playing his Gibson Dobro in the movie at the rally scene at the end of the film.  If only my dobro had that kind of tone...mine has a bad pan and sounds more like a banjo.
