: Where is your neck of the woods? ie Where is the Downhome located?
The Down Home is located in Johnson City, TN, I am in neighboring Bristol.
( homeground to Doyle Lawson, The Carter Family and many others too numerous to mention )
: Here, it's the Birchmere, in Alexandria, VA, where all the superplayers seem to return.
I have several shows recorded at the Birch.
: Goosecreek...now that's going back a ways.
Goosecreek is alive and well and sound as good, if not better then they did in the 70s.
Don't miss 'em if you get a chance.
