(When our website is finished, I'll start doing this there rather than here)
Receiving my copy of HCNFU kicked me in the butt enough to finally finish overdubs for my band's demo disc.  Once mixes are finished and links are available, I'll send you the band's web site replete with pictures and an e-mail address.  Two of the songs are already out on MP3.com. (I do not wish to infer that my band sounds like DB in any shape or form but the recording really inspired me)

The Band is Called...The Elizabeth Polly Trio:  When Block informed me of the use of my old band name by a really awesome band in NY, we changed it to honor the Ghost of a Nurse that perished in a Cholera outbreak at Fort Hays (Kansas) shortly after the Civil War.  It is said that she still haunts the hills along Highway 40 as a luminescent blue woman.  They call her the blue light lady.

Our first Show is officially October 1st, 2002 at the historic Abe and Jake's Landing. we're playing in a small room rather than the horrid big room that has the acoustics of a Junior High Gymnasium.  If you're in the Lawrence, Kansas City or Topeka areas, feel free to stop by, we'd love to have you.  The headlining band is called Good Advice...a talented blues jam band.  The bassist recorded basic tracks for our demo and has been nothing but help since we started.  I'll keep you informed of further developments.  Thank you for not hating me too much for this little advertisement.

Sincerely,

Paul R. Hunt
