Why the hell would you want to pay $80 to see a shorter set from the better act? I'll pay my $15 or so and see a full set from the NFU anytime, and if an Abra Moore with her lovely doe eyes opens, all the better.
I felt sorry for Melissa Etheridge last year when she had to open for the Eagles. What a drag! Stuck opening for a band whose last tolerable release was on eight track tape - that's a career move. After all that she still had to procure her needed seed from another old fart - like Joe Walsh couldn't have extended the courtesy of filling the turkey baster himself?
