A couple things crossed my mind since I posted that video.
I got the same creepy banality of evil vibe from the Project 2025 explainer videos.
The stock market has been highly overvalued for some time - if the drop sticks, it may be seen (read: gaslighted) as a needed adjustment. But with all the short selling and manipulation going on that's not going to last long.
I also read that the majority of generic prescription drugs are imported from India. There goes that cost saving - I doubt the insurance companies are going to absorb that spike.
