Did anyone get a chance to march, wave signs, drive by, or know someone who was at a Hands Off event on Saturday?

I had a choice of 3 that I could have gone to. There was one in Atlanta that was a march and rally.  It was a tad hot Saturday-I think it made it into the high 80s, maybe even to 90 so I decided not to go to that one. First I heard they had 20,000 people there. Then, I heard they had 30,000 and had to shut off entrance to the park at the end of the march where the rally was!!!! What an amazing turn-out. Still glad I didn't go to that one!

There was another one in Woodstock which is about 45 minutes away from and very near my son & daughter in law's house but they couldn't join me and this one was also a march, although you could just met at the courthouse where the rally would take place. They had a nice turn out there in a very red county. The congressman there is Loudermilk. He's the gem who was giving tours on January 5th of the subway system in the Capitol but denied it although I believe there are pictures of it.

The 3rd Hands Off event was at the Marietta Square in downtown Marietta and that's the one that I and several other Liberal Women of Paulding County decided to go to. We could park in a parking garage less than a block from the square, there were nice trees providing some shade on the square, and it was mainly a sign waving event as opposed to a march. I know that by Saturday morning 400 people had signed up on Mobilize.us but I really think there were more people there than that. There was a short rally program and then we all went back to our corners of the square to wave signs and interact with the mostly friendly folks who drove by. Cobb County has recently turned blue so there were some naysayers because there are still many MAGA there, but by and large it was a nice, friendly crowd with now trouble whatsoever.

There were so many wonderful signs at our event and events around the country and the world even. If you didn't get to participate in Saturday's Hands Off events, there is another day of action on April 15th. I'm not sure the theme yet, but get a poster board, or a piece of cardboard, or computer paper for that matter, some markers or crayons and make a sign. Then call a couple of friends and head out to the nearest event OR see about setting up one of your own. Go to mobilize.us to see where the one closest to you is. I promise going to an event holding a sign that you made or found that says how you feel on it, will make you feel sooooo much better.  We need trump, the rest of the administration, congress, and the MAGAts to see us out there in the streets to show them that we outnumber them and our numbers are growing and we are becoming stronger!

This was the sparse corner when we arrived so we decided to head here. It soon got crowded!
