Much of New England is in mourning today over the Red Sox loss in extra innings to the much hated New York Yankees. Yet another year that they will not make it to the World Series. Grown men are actually despondent over this and the news is full of people too upset to talk. And so I turn on CNN this morning to learn that 3 US military police and 2 Iraqi police were killed over night. Their deaths won't be discussed at the water cooler today (or probably any day) and I wonder where our priorities are.
