Advance review copies are currently being sold on eBay—there are two available right now. I think the idea is that positive reviews on sites like Goodreads and Amazon are fair compensation for allowing an early look. The release date, however, is June 2, 2026. There are no reviews as of yet on Amazon (which I think aren't open to reviews until release date) - but there are quite a few over on goodreads.com.
It’s a wonderfully woven story. Not only is it very visual, as Peter T. mentioned, but it’s also extremely cinematic in its span of time and locations. Yet, through all that, the characters retain their humanity; they aren't simply actors on a stage.
It would be fascinating if David took the next step and created a soundtrack for the book - or at least a playlist. Just like you mentioned with your 'Panera distraction tool,' I have to imagine David had music in his head while writing this.
