ok Kent, I'll talk about your claim that there are major problems in CA (my state of residence) regarding medical marijuana. The only problems in this state are the same as other states that have passed similar laws/initiatives. The federal government is attempting to impose its will on the states. The struggle between states rights and federal control has always been a pendulum swinging back and forth in this country and will be so into the forseeable future. If you lived in this state you would know that your statement about major porblems is just untrue. In my county (Nevada County), which is something like 70% hard core conservative, the police (county sheriff's and city police) will not/do not bother someone with a prescription for marijuana, as long as they possess only enough for personal use (I believe its something like three plants or a few ounces) and they have actually raided large growing operations and left the amount they deem as for personal use if someone at the place of the raid has a script. Major cities (Oakland, S.F.) are working on an ID card system, as is the state legislature, and it is my understanding that Arnold supports medical marijuana. The high profile cases regarding pot busts have been in federal court. My state has its share of problems, but is nowhere near as bad as the perception, of course SRB may beg to differ . . .
