What would I do? Well, I'd advise Bush to drop the macho rhetoric and own up to the fact that this war was spun like no other. You have to understand that at present, the vast majority of the world wants to see us fail. They see an administration of unprecedented arrogance (I see the same thing). We desperately need to internationalize the situation but it's not going to happen until Bush offers the mother of all mea culpas. And I sense that he is genetically incapable of such an act of contrition. My prediction is that this will one day result in a civil war and the region will be far less stable than it was prior to the war.
