I remember Al's bar being a bit of a dump with graffitti on the walls in a not so great, industrial part of downtown L.A. Bums would ask for a buck or two to watch your car while you were in the club. I saw a friends band play there once.

I thought Heroes was a good way to end the Boomtown record. An ecapsulation of the record if you will.

An acoustic version of the song Heroes would be an enjoyable experience since I always had a small issue with the drum sounds on the Boomtown record. A bit too high in the mix I guess. I've probably heard the record a hunderd times however, so there's no lack of love for it.
