1. Ok he was honest about the 17 times that Sadaam openly broke U. N sanctions. I think the Western world basically said "Lets give him one more chance" but I'm thinking your scenerio goes more like this:
"Ok people of the Western World, we've got this evil dictator who openly kills his own people at will and we the U.S. want to go in and take him out and use the Iraq as a stabalization point in the middle east. We dont really feel like he is an immediate threat but give him time and some resouces and this guy could wreak havoc on you Western World. Oh and by the way if you're worried about funding we've got that covered, you see there is liquid gold in Iraq that will pay for the whole thing."
