Israel is "occupying" Syria?? Get real...show me evidence. Or, more likely did they enter those regions during times of war. For example, the Golan Heights during the '67 war, were part of Syria. The Syrian turrets overlooking Kibutzes down in the valley, fired upon civilians living in those Kibutzes (farms). During the war, the Israeli army did indeed capture the Golan, and maintained military presence their out of necessity to prevent further assaults on the farming communities. I somehow see this as vastly different than.."Israel is occupying Syria"..and all those other examples you use (UN data no less...like just who the fuck IS the UN?? And when have they ever been anything but spiteful towards Israel; remember "Zionism is Terrorism" and all that other not-so-veiled anti-Semitism..). You are just parroting the UN anti-Israel stance, which has been in place for over 30 years now, viewing Israel as terrorist and occupationalist. If that anti-Israeli stance is your view, Reg..fine, but don't back it up with clearly biased UN data. Israel does not need to "occupy" these nations...and doesn't want MORE land. Israel has been fighting for it's life since the nation's birth from hostile bordering nations, and is hardly trying to take over Syria, Jordan, Egypt, or Lebanon. It just wants to be left alone.
