The argument is:
We've never taken UN violations seriously unless we've got an interest in doing so. As a matter of fact we've never taken the UN that seriously...until we need to. So, if one country constantly violates UN resolutions and we could care less, how can you use another country violating resolutions as a reason for war when even the UN won't back you on it?
