Any steps that have been taken by Israel have been to defend herself. Usually there's a suicide bombing or general murder that invites Sharon to send up the helicopter gunships and whatnot. While Syria and Egypt tried to annex Israel during the Six-Day war (after they got leathered, they thought it best to treat Israel with a little respect) the Palestinians seem not to have learned their lesson.
Perhaps we could ship all the Israeli's into America and all the liberals back to the West Bank... most of the libs have a comprable victim complex to that of the Al-Aqsa martyrs brigade, so I'm sure they'd get on ;-)
BTW, here's the missing link between Bin Laden and Iraq...
