WASHINGTON - George Bush's policy advisors were telling herdofsheep last week that their policy was 'regime change, once prime-season golf was done.'
"Two things are sure," one advisor said in a telephone conference with the herdofsheep newsdesk. "One, we are going for regime change in Iraq. Two, we are not going to get to it before we are done with the best golfing this Fall."
As the weather starts to cool in Washington State, golfers hit prime time, and can enjoy the pleasant moist feel of the course without feeling the cold.
"Regime change is the right policy for us, and for the rest of the world. Saddam is a threat to his neighbours. But right now the grass feels incredible in the early morning, and the feeling of taking a good clean swing at the tee is unmissable."
You can't go into a war lightly, herdofsheep was told. "War means twenty-four hour meetings with computers, data, hotlines, battle plans, the lot. It just doesn't make sense to get into that while the course has got that spring under your feet."
