 I agree with you that when presented in a "here it is" manner, an album like Scoop can be enjoyable.

 And I bet that Plant set you talked about is fun to listen to. years ago I aquired a single cd of Robert Plant that featured an unplugged, reworked version of "Whole Lotta Love". I am not sure if it was something left over from a recording session or a touring band tune-up, but I liked it.
