No cut and paste here. This is the full memos...scanned copy and all. This truly is not a non-issue. This is outright illegal activity. Holding off judicial nominations that they agree are "non-controversial" just so their affirmative action agenda will be unhindered is a blatent abuse of power.

If a Republican had done this, I would feel the same way. In all honesty, I probably wouldn't be so vocal about it, but I sure as hell wouldn't defend something that I damn well know is wrong.

Just because someone supports the ideals that I believe in and is a part of the politcal party I support does not mean I will turn a blind eye to their corruption and dishonesty. Doing so would make me partisan -- and being partisan undermines the very concept of freedom this country was founded upon. A major part of freedom is the ability to make up your own mind and believe in what you feel is good and right. Partisanship is the act of setting those beliefs aside in favor of your party's beliefs and actions, otherwise known as hypocracy.
