Yup, Baker is part of Team Bush and the idea has been from the beginning to have all his folks pull all the stings so that before any of the muck or mire can be sorted out it really will be "Mission Accomplished"...not meaning we scored a victory for Freedom and Democracy and made the world safer from the threat of terrorism...but that all the right people have control of the money and oil. Money and oil...pretty much the same thing...except oil is worth more than money...HA!

No, I don't mean Bushco is going to "steal it" but they will decide who controls it so that the "right people" benefit...Saudis...Bakers...Halliburtons...basically all the guys Bushco is in bed with.

The mind boggling part to me is how easy it's been for them so far and that no one and nothing can seem to get in their way...really all the scandels and partisan blow-ups are just a distraction to allow them to work unhindered on the real goal. Which is only to clear.

Maybe they should get more credit than we've been giving them. Perhaps turing Washington into a cesspool of screaming hissy fits and throwing seemingly lunatic decisions at the American media and public on a daily basis is all part of the plan. Everyones too busy paying attention to all the latest bullshit they've throw at us and our politicians are busy sharpening their knives and deciding how to use this stuff while Bushco (working on a schedule after all 4 years...8 if they get lucky) move the chess pieces to where they want them. In the end what does it matter if Bush looks idiotic and the nation someday sees him for the "miserable failure" he's pretty much always been...the man himself could care less and will have had his ride and hell there will always be hardcore Republicans that will say "Boy, lil' Georgie now he was a good president wasn't he?"...and the real game will have been won.
