Icon Richard, as usual you missed my point and as usual, resort to hyperbole to make yours...

Richard,

My point about human rights is not numbers and having never met you can probably safely assume my concern with human rights goes far beyond what you think it does and probably beyond yours.

I think it is safe to assume that IF Shrub had based his drive for war ON human rights, the American people would have stopped it. It's not that I am saying American's do not care about human rights, but when it comes to war, Americans are much more resistent to send American troops to war for that (a recent example of this is the Balkan states and our resistence to get involved).

Shurb did not use human rights as his true cause because he knows it would not have suited his drive - but when it all ends, what is he now landing on? Human rights! How sickening. The right has never cared about Iraqi human rights until now. And that goes to what I am saying.

Frankly, in my opinion, action against Hussein existed years ago simply based on human rights. HOWEVER, Shrub manufactured his war on 9/11 hysteria and fabricated links to 9/11.

As for Cambodia, well, when that was going on I think the main thing on my mind was being fed and playing - in other words, I was a tyke.

Don't get me wrong, like most sane people, it is good Hussein is gone, but the way we got there was through lies, fabrication and manipulation by dishonorable people and we need to remember that. Especially now that that grinning baboon A. Chalabi is being featured all over the press down.
