I heard his debut album and found it incredibly boring. UK is in Kid Rock's band, and clearly just rode the coat tails on that one.
Kid Rock's album Devil w/o a Cause is excellent, but his follow-up really fell flat. That was the first rap album I ever really liked, and it got me listening to a number of other groups such as Dr Dre, Eminem, Tupac Shakur, D12 and Rehab. The guy really does put on an excellent concert, which is especially rare for that genre. Beware rappers in concert that don't play musical instruments - they put on shows that are nothing more than karaoke.
