I think one of the first polls on this site had to do with which DB disc people would like to see get the whole remastered/bonus track treatment. I think Triage won out. Listening to Triage earlier today - I don't think it really needs any more work. It sounds great. Now Boomtown on the other hand really shows it age as far as what CDs sound like now versus then. Without getting into the warmth debate again - I wonder if Boomtown could benefit from being remastered or is that the best it could sound on CD? David - what are your thoughts? When was the last time you listened to Boomtown (and was it vinyl or CD)? Also - invariable when CDs get remastered there's always the inclusion of some bonus tracks. Were any of the tracks from AFM conceived during the Triage recording? Are there any tracks laying on tape that you would include if Triage were to be remastered with bonus tracks? Any for Boomtown? Just asking.I think this thought has surfaced in my mind because I just got three remastered w/ bt CDs - Tears for Fears - Songs from the Big Chair and the first two from Men at Work - Cargo and Business as Usual. The TfF CD is excellent. These guys embody what I love about 80s music. Anyone else here fans?Dan
