In general Mick, yeah we can usually sit in the same section without killing each other. Especially us older fans. But when you put two arch rival college football teams together you'd be better off stayin' outta your buddy's wrong team rootin' section, to maintain your composure if not your limbs.
This is especially true if there's a significant reward for the winning team at the end. (playoffs, championship etc.)
