This floored me when I read the two side by side. I just found how close these statements were to be well...quite odd. First Henry Fords take:
"The only statement I care to make about the Protocols is that they fit in with what is going on. They are sixteen years old, and they have fitted the world situation up to this time. They fit it now." --Henry Ford, 2-17-21
Next Kent's take:
"The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion - The only statement that I made about this was that it accurately describes what is currently going on in this world. If it were in fact a hoax --- it would be expected to get more than a few details wrong. But it doesn't get them wrong --- it describes them to a startling degree of accuracy.
Any argument that it all must be a hoax conveniently ignores that it is extremely accurate in describing our world today. Even the fact alone that it was written one hundred years ago should render some aspects of it incorrect. But --- the opposite has occurred." -KDB
Kent, did you read Ford's statement before you made yours because that's amazing that you both said the same thing using the same flawed logic as the basis for why the Protocols should be considered...well...really I'm still not sure exactly what you think of them but I'll e-mail you about it later.
In truth it's not a big deal to have been taken in by the Protocol hoax...after all loads of people were and the reason it's a really touchy subject is so many people died because of it. The main thing though is once you've been made aware that it's propaganda then you must move beyond it and recognize it for what it is.
I do think it's important to study it and be aware of it because it teaches such a valuable lesson...pretty much a lesson you keep trying to throw out there Kent...that it's easy to screw with people and the consequences can be devastating.
Well, I'm off to bed. Just got back from watching Mick in the Lord Of The Rings final installment. Mick you really need to get a new razor to shave your feet!
