By more investment I take that to mean incentives that would help them along. I've read where the Death Tax can kill a small business because passing the business on to a family member costs too much. Also the minimum wage law has a negative impact on many a small business. Finally something must be done so that small business's can offer insurance to it's workers. Give them tax incentives to small business's that offer these perks to their employee's. For the small business to thrive it needs a little help to compete with the big boys.

I think the government getting involved in saving the airlines was sickening but giving big business and big time investors tax incentives only makes sense to me in a down economy.  They supply the jobs we need

One thing you said to me that hit home was that you did believe in WWII. Do you think Hitler and his ilk would have ruled the world had we not stepped in?

 I'd like to see efforts made to strengthen international treaties and relationships, rather than abrogating them.
Diplomacy works well as long as the money is flowing.....but then again so does war :):)

Environmental policy? I'd like to see people other than corporate lobbyists in charge of the EPA. I'd like to see an EPA able to establish and enforce codes as strong as our building codes. Energy policy? I'd like to see a massive and concerted effort to free our selves from petroleum.
I'm not a tree hugger but you got me on the freedom from petroleum but then we talked about that at the coffee shop. Why has it taken us 30 years from the initial electric car (remember back like the 4th or 5th grade) to get us all the way to a production version of a ugly hybrid car. Do you think it is the oil lobbyist that are holding this one up?

Kravitz? Justice policy? I'd like to see all the Amendments defended as vociferously as the right to bear arms. I'd like to see white collar criminals attacked as severely as pot smokers.

Education policy? I personally like the Waldorf program myself, but really anything that will help to create a generation of independent and capable thinkers, who could help all of us get ourselves out of this bitter mess that our civilisation has gotten itself into.
I think all students should be required to be members of the Corps...........just kidding. We talked Montesorri so there was some agreement there. Waldorf sounds like a very good summer camp thing...............I dont know about the full time thing though
