I checked'em out last Sunday at Kirby's Creekside in Nevada City, very small place, basically a small bar. I loved her voice, her songs seemed a little nondescript, but the sound was not that great. I have to say I liked the small set Homegrown did between her sets a little more, the songs seemed to have more personality and fun. And in all honesty was distracted watching three woman down shots of Patron and get more and more playful (one of which was with me). Do you have her Live CD, if so do you recommend getting it, as I didn't get a strong feeling one way or the other, I didn't pick it up that night. I did introduce myself to Melissa and let her know why I was there, since I don't know your full name I told her, I'd tell you to introduce yourself next time you see her. Apparently she has a lot of family in Norcal, there were about 15 there to support her. The place was packed. That's it . . .
