The news is reporting that the White House appears to be leaning towards endorsing hearings on the intelligence gathered in regards to Iraq and WMDs. The White House also has floated it wants this commission to start AFTER the elections. This is garbage. It should be done now. The Republicans are saying how the Democrats will politicize this issue. Well, too bad. If one goes back to my much earlier postings, I stated the vote for the Iraq War should have been placed AFTER the 2002 elections so an honest vote could be conducted, but the Shrub White House pushed the vote before the elections and looked what they did - They politicized the issue and ran ads against Max Cleland and Tom Daschle linking them to Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden. So what goes around, comes around.
