Martyrs, all!

I think that this kind of thing is where the steel hits the flesh.  The spooky thing is that there are enough slobbering drones here in the Midwest that a grotesque violation of 1st amendment rights would be gleefully supported.  Folks who were so freaked out by the zenophobic "United We Stand" media blitz that they're willing to turn the US into a big internment camp to make sure we regress to life in the 50's.  But as we've seen from the castor bean attacks on the Senate Buildings, it's not just the outside that needs to be watched. 

I would just like to mention that our friends here on the board, our conservative counterparts (aka the three amigos) are not the kind of folks that I'm talking about when I say "slobbering drones." The folks I refer to would never touch a forum with a ten foot pole. They have no use for new information.  They don't engage in any form of "frank exchange of views."  Lambs that follow whatever shepard is placed in front of them...and if a black sheep is plucked from their midst due to an alternative view, they hardly flinch, just glad it wasn't them.  This reinforces the tunnel vision and compliance.

And if anyone is listening, I'm a MoveOn reader, I wrote for a short lived "lefty" newspaper called the Alternative Index. (got my hand caught in the press too, you can still tell since my right hand ring and pinky finger are still bent slightly)   I just wrote music reviews, but I guess in some circles, that might be enough.  I often vote Democrat, except in '98 when I voted for Natural Law Party candidates Haeglin and Tompkins. I smoked pot at a Pink Floyd concert and inhaled but I don't touch the stuff anymore, I've looked up porn on the internet,  mixed paper and plastic in my recycling, wore white pants after Nov. 1st and just the other day, I ran with scissors.  Oh...and I don't support wars...generally, except thumb wars and my occasional genocide on ants inside my home.  Come get me...I'm dangerous!
