IMHO, if the current world, political, and economic climate holds through November, Bush will have a difficult time winning a second term. Granted many things can happen between now and then. What Bush will need is, most importantly an improved economy/job market, or at least the perception of marked improvement; noticeable achievement in Iraq, capturing Bin Laden, and/or a screw up by the Dem candidate. If a couple of these come to pass he probably will win re-election. If not, I think it's safe to say, most people who voted for Gore, and all who voted for Nader (me, 'cause I couldn't in good conscience vote for either) will vote for his main opponent. Myself, I'll not vote for Bush, but am stll leaning towards voting third party, as I am extremely concerned about the power stranglehold our two major parties have on the political process and believe their in bed together far more than most people realize . . .

On a different note, at some point I want to address immigration, specifically the current undocumented immigrant policy/situation and the guest worker proposals, which I tend to support, since most on this board seem to have differing view points, but it'll be a long post and I suppose I need good documentation or someone will rip me a new one (after a few drinks of course) . . .
