(chorus)
Na na na na na. Hey!
Na na na na na. Hey!
Na na na na na. Hey!
Na na na na na.
Just turns out Outsider HD wasn't electable. (W's not presidential - he's like a bad joke - sorta like what you get when you cross a muppet with big oil.) Dean showed what happens when you run on the outsider platform. He also showed how to generate cash with the web. Too bad it was squandered. He spent a great deal of time criticizing the establishment, when perhaps he should've been infiltrating it.
Anyhow, I thought his speech was one of his better one's (although I liked last night's speech where he pictured Kerry and W in a debate and Dean played the role of W saying "You supported me in the war, you supported a bunch of my tax proposals - why don't you just support me?") and I'm sure todays speech was W's most favorite. Now they can focus on Kerry.
I don't know what's going to make national news and what they're going to use for bites but the last part of Dean's speech was pretty good. I'm quoting from memory which means it's not verbatim, but it was along the lines -
"I'm going to tell you something most politicians won't and this may sound different now than when I first started running, but it's not. Most politicians will stand up and say they will fix everything for you. But it's a lie. The power lies with you." He also voiced a hope of mine and hopefully an overwhelming majority of voters in November when he said "I hope history repeats itself and the son of a one term president is a one term president".
On a totally unrelated note for the Floridians, Arizoners and Californians (oh yeah and Oirish and such) - if you ever want to see what it's like weather wise here check out this link from where I work...
