Kent, go back and read what I was referring to, and you well know (as would anybody who read my post..Ed, chime in here, if you care to..) that I was NOT referring to standing up to the Catholic Church posture of Mr.Gibson.  I was referring to YOUR inane comment about the Holocaust, that you did not know..etc..since you were "not there".   Inferring quite clearly, that you yourself, had your doubts about this tragic era of human history.   Even so, if, as you state, Mr.Gibson never said a word about holocaust denial, that still doesn't get YOU off the hook, in my mind. Sorry, friend, and it doesn't have naught to do with my intelligence (which I am mighty comfortable with).   You have twisted my discourse to suit your own agenda, and this has happened before when you have attacked others on this board.  Now..I will read sources you have listed about our mutual irritant/stimulant Mr.Gibson Sr, and if it is clear that he is NOT a Holocaust denier, I will formally retract what I said about him, but not my post referring to YOUR holocaust statement. 

Finally...I bear you no malice.  This has nothing to do with friendship, really. I do not/will not play favorites.  It is a discussion board. We are, (I hope) having a discussion/exchange, which should be one of the healthful aspects of the board.  I do not regard you as any more or less of a friend for disagreeing with me, and I would hope that you read my statements in the same light, no matter how much you think positively or adversely of such statements. 

Now to return to reading more about Mr.Hutton Gibson, when I get a few moments..
