Ian, will you please put John Mayer on the top of your hit list, please.
I kind'a liken the whole Norah Jones thing to the sucess of another white female pop star named Dido. Now I'll admit I was a huge fan of Dido when I first heard her song "Thank You" used in the film, "Sliding Doors". Then good ole' M&M sampled the song in "Stan" and the rest is history. Norah and Dido are safe, easy music for middle america to swallow. Now there's this artist named Jem, who sounds a wee bit like Dido, only with cooler beats. She's on Dave Matthews' label, ATO and is poised to take a slightly hipper, middle american listener by storm. Mick, have you heard of her? She's from your neck of the woods, well only if the shire includesWales?
Cheers, Kevin (from AZ)
