Where are the facts?

Sorry...couldn't resist that.

You know what happens here in general is the folks on the left supply facts or evidence...then a guy like GA (who seems to have the memory of a flea) comes along and calls it propaganda...or lies...or Bush hating...and then offers no response other than to say we live in an "echo chamber" here. That's usually followed up by saying it's a waste of time to dispute things with us because we're all so full of hate and or are brainwashed by the "elite left wing media"...which is comedy enough I guess.

So, far though many people keep asking GA...pleading...for GA or anyone that believes in or supports Bushco policy to give us their take on that policy. Instead we get Ann Coulter style name calling...stupid, silly, idiotic, hater...and never a clear look at an issue. Even when asked direct to comment on something like "No Child Left Behind"...after saying he felt calling a teachers union a "Terrorist organization" was ok in his book...the response from GA was...nothing. Probably felt it would be a "waste of time" to have that discussion.

There's been little discussion...except from Pat who honestly voiced his displeasure with it...about the Bushco "Amnesty plan"...I'd love to here a good side to that other than "Shut up Gephardt supported that idea"...which likely would be GA's response...but when Dicky Gephardt ran it round the congress the response was..."You're nuts!"...but with Rove driving the car and an election on the line...one that most rational people think will be tight...guess what...Big fat ol' amnesty plan gets the thumbs up...

Or how about talking about how as we chase terrorists around the globe and threaten nations to dismantle their WMD programs...Bushco pushes forward with development of new nukes...smaller ones this time...and you know why? 

BECAUSE WE CAN'T USE THE BIG ONES BECUASE THEY CREATE TOO MUCH DEVASTATION. Like MacDonald's cutting the "supersize" from it's menu...Bushco wants to stop supersizing it's nukes...they want little nukes so they can ACTUALLY USE THEM ON SOMEONE! Jesus...the whole philosophy the last several decades was never to use these damn things...now Bushco wants some they can actually use so if we get the itch we could actually say...nuke North Korea. Is there any comment on that from Bush supporters? Nope.

All we get from the right wing in general these days...and I'm not talking about Pat or Kevin G or Marc...but what we get is "Kerry is the senator from France" or "Kerry is a rich Massachusetts Liberal" or "Kerry is a slave to special interests" or "Kerry is weak on defense"...all nonsensical bullshit...same as the prolonged debate over the Bush National Guard deal...and I guess the right wing feels justified during times when we've got huge issues to deal with and should be discussing them...just playing let's try to assassinate Kerry's character because the Democrats had the audacity during a political primary to discuss mistakes and the general mayhem Bush and his cronies created. Well...fuck me...why would they ever talk about Bush during a primary? It's all such stupidity and nonsense.

But me...I don't represent America when I speak...according to GA anyway...I'm a nut...I'm living in a fantasy world...hmmm

We've got a guy in the White House that wants nukes he can use...wants to build a base on the moon...believes he can create legislation to promote marriage...is destroying our public education system...is spending money like no Democrat has ever dreamed possible...is willing to grant amnesty to all illegal aliens (maybe he thinks the ones from outer space will be his friend then)...is perfectly willing to give American jobs to people in any other nation on the planet as long as it benefits his big business cronies...has done nothing to remedy what, according to his own administration, seems to be the biggest intelligence breakdown in the history of our country...and managed at one point to tell us...after much speculation and creating a Star Trek like alert system to "warn the nation of it's impending doom" (Orange alert anyone?)...that the best thing we could do to protect ourselves is to rush out to the store and buy some duct tape...and I'm the one that's a nut.

You know once when lil' George was asked at the 1988 Republican National Convention what him and his daddy talk about the answer he gave was "Pussy"...really...a reporter from a Hartford newspaper asked him that and that was his response. By the way as the right wing starts running ads calling Kerry a "rich guy" that gets "$75 haircuts" they should keep in mind Bush too grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth...oh and Kerry at least has been his own man where as lil' George has rode daddy's coattails all the way to the oval office. So he can pretend all he wants he's a "regular joe from Texas" but the fact is this guy comes from a family where they in general don't even know what us poor folks that actually have to do their own grocery shopping pay for a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk. This is our "Regular Joe" president...yeah right...and I'm the one living a fantasy with Eric and Block...as a matter of fact guys lets all close our eyes and picture ourselves on some island with Hula girls...sippin' pina coladas...ahhhhhhhhhhh...feel the sun....
