George A. seemed so sure of himself, and I took issue with half the board being dismissed as "nuts", (and I don't care if Kerry is "nuts"; I don't think he is and I'd vote for him anyway) so I thought I'd propose a wager. I thought sure George would leap at the chance to rub my nose in GWB's victory (and get a chance to provide $100 to some hideous right-wing charity) but so far he hasn't reappeared on the board, and now it's been more than 48 hours since my proposal.

So now I'm feeling like a nag: "George, are you there? Geoooorrrge!", so this is my last post on this subject. I think I was fair. I gave George seventy-two hours to consider his values and whether or not they amount to $100.

And you still have twenty four hours George...

Let's make things interesting George. I say Bush is going down and I'm willing to back my prediction up with my checkbook:

$100 on Kerry. If Bush wins I write a check to the non-profit organization of your choice. (It has to be a 501(C)3) If Kerry wins- and he will- you write a $100 check to the organization of my choosing.

Since Bush poll numbers are heading south you have to commit in say- the next seventy hours.
