Personally, I think it's a real Risk taking on a guitar player that is ALSO the main Democratic Contender for President.  Talk about EGO!  Not to say that ALL guitar players are "divas" but I just get this funny feelin' that he'd end up hogging ALL the solos, David's groupies would get funnelled to him by the secret service/roadies.  I mean, really, how many roadies does one guy need? 

Practice would be a bitch.  You go in sayin'  "Ok boys, let's work on 'Toughest Whore...from the top." and then he'd go and VETO that and you'd spend the whole time playing "Don't Fear the Reaper" and he'll keep yellin' for more COWBELL.

So, if you're lookin' for a new guitar player Mr. Baerwald...go for younger folks, not in elected offices and preferably from Midwestern College Towns.
