i would just like to point out that i have
* no credit cards, therefore no credit card bills
* no mortgage
* no alimony (phew)
* no child support
* no college loans to repay
no debt whatsoever nothin' nohow. so there. and, yes, the feeling of freedom from a sort of financial slavery is a very nice one. it does tend to lessen the pressures and leave one less susceptible to potentially unsavory outside influence born of financial neccesity. okay, i need a new clutch, but that's it. please, good people, find a way to join us in this brave new world order. :)
