Kevin, we are soul mates indeed.  I totally understand, being partial to birds myself.  One day, I can tell you all about Boo, my pet budgie...his life and times.  I posted his pic in the gallery some time ago.  He lived with me and through some of my various life turbulence for 10 years.  When a creature like that shares so much time and life with you, when they pass, it is part of you which passes on as well.  That whole process holds great beauty and sadness at the same time.
